FormView - Creating a Form to Insert Data

A common task in many websites is to create a good looking form, allow a user to enter information, and have that information be inserted into a database. Further, you may want the user to be sent to a different page after the information is inserted and/or send an email notification. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a form for inserting into a databse that you can control in terms of look and organization.
